Indeed, thats what seems to be the theme of the movie - Danny boy couldn't care less.

 

Now is this Daniel Craig we are talking about or is it Vin Diesel! This is probably the most radical movie in the series. No gadgets, no bikinis, first a Ford shows up (can you believe it - a bloody FORD ?!!) then an Aston Martin makes a discreet entry only to be wrecked in less than 30 mins. In fact the movie actually takes a romantic turn - no testosterone but mush? This is what I call Shock and Awe.

 

Frankly - I just loved it. This guy is far more unreliable, flawed and closer to reality than ever before. In my opinion, the masterstroke was to show that MI6 believe that this guy is a blunt weapon - basically a mistake. Eva Green is refined, real smooth. All in all I think this was a refreshing change. Worth a watch.

In case you still don't know who I am talking about - the name is Bond, James Bond !
